I believe that evolution manifests quickly.

Not necessarily over millennia but over one, two or three years.

Breakthroughs occur in an instant and cement over time.

The environment we live in influences not only our psychology, but also our physiology.

Space and volume, mass and light can move us, deeply.

A building that makes you take a deep breath, that compels children to jump and play, is successful, unforgettable and timeless.

We grow, extend, and expand to the quality of our environment. The spaces we experience and inhabit are formative.

Space and volume can act – and should act – as a catalyst to transform our emotions, our vision and our sense of being.

For these reasons, I want to design buildings that change people, that influence our cultural experience.

And by extension, to influence evolution.

“There is no doubt whatever about the influence of architecture and structure upon human character and action. We make our buildings and afterwards they make us. They regulate the course of our lives. “ (Winston Churchill)
